The Dual Band Cellular Repeater/Amplifier works in the following manner: An outside antenna (placed outside the premises) receives the signal from the base station, the Cell Amplifier unit amplifies the signal and repeats it to the cell phones through the inside antenna (placed indoors). You get the freedom to walk around while talking on your phone. This technology allows clean and clear wireless functioning of multiple cell phones operating in the 800MHz or 1900MHz bands.
